Why ClearHour

Timed Access
Tiny access. No endless scroll.
When enabled in advance, Timed Access opens one blocked app for 2–5 minutes. The timer does not pause, every blocked app shares the same hourly quota, and there are no extensions.
Strict, but safe
A hard lock should still be safe.
ClearHour is designed to stop an impulsive change without trapping you when something genuinely needs repair.
Recovery Pass
A deliberate 30-minute repair window when your setup genuinely needs fixing.

Is ClearHour a new Android operating system?
No. “Dumbphone OS” is supporting brand language. ClearHour is an Android app that creates a dumbphone mode; it does not replace Android.
What stays available?
Core phone functions such as calls, messages, contacts, alarms, calendar, camera, keyboard and Home remain available, together with supported Essentials and the Utility Slot apps you choose.
Can I open a blocked app briefly?
Only if you enabled Timed Access in advance and shared quota remains. Sessions last 2–5 minutes and cannot be paused or extended.
When can I change the rules?
During setup, your daily Clear Hour, or a deliberate Recovery Pass for repair. Permission repair remains available at any time.
Can ClearHour be uninstalled or bypassed?
Optional Uninstall Protection adds an extra step to common uninstall paths. ClearHour does not claim protection against safe mode, ADB, root, recovery or factory reset.
Does ClearHour work on iPhone?
Not in the MVP. ClearHour is currently Android-only.
